How scoring works

CurrentStack scores are deterministic. We never ask an LLM to invent prices or declare a “winner.” Scores combine curated fields from each product record.

Weights

• Pricing fitness — 25%
• Free tier — 15%
• Feature match — 25%
• Region coverage — 15%
• Use-case fit (bestFor) — 20%

What we measure

• Pricing: starting list price vs your budget (or a general “cheaper is better” curve when no budget is set).
• Free tier: binary bonus when a free plan exists.
• Features / regions / fit: overlap between your requirements and the product’s tagged features, regions, and bestFor labels.

Numeric and plan claims come from official pricing/docs URLs stored on each tool page. If we are unsure, we keep the previous verified value rather than publishing a guess.

Affiliate links do not change scores. Sponsored listings (when available) are labeled separately from recommendations.
